Terms and Conditions

General

These Terms and Conditions govern the makeup services provided by Danielle Victoria Makeup to you, the client. By booking a session, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Booking & Payment

  •  All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the service.

  • Prices are non-negotiable unless otherwise specified. Prices may be subject to change without prior notice.
    The client agrees to pay the full amount for services rendered by Danielle Victoria Makeup in accordance with these terms.

  •  Full payment for services is due on the day of the appointment, prior to or at the time the services are rendered, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel up to 48 hours before the appointment.
    Cancellations or reschedules made within this 48-hour window will incur the full cost of the reserved service, with no exceptions.

  • In the event that Danielle Victoria Makeup needs to cancel or reschedule, we will make every effort to offer an alternative time or provide a full refund if a new appointment cannot be scheduled.

  • If the client is more than 15 minutes late, Danielle Victoria Makeup reserves the right to reduce the service time or cancel the appointment which will incur the full cost of the reserved service, with no exceptions.
    Any delay will shorten the client's service time, and the following appointment will not be adjusted to compensate for lost time.

  • We understand that circumstances can change and cancellations may be unavoidable. However, as a small business, we often turn away other clients due to existing bookings. To minimise disruption, this policy has been put in place.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights associated with this website, including trademarks, logos, designs, copyrighted content, and any digital media, are either owned by or licensed to Danielle Victoria Makeup and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or display of any content from this website is prohibited without our prior written approval.  

Liability

  • Danielle Victoria Makeup is not responsible for any skin reactions or allergies caused by the products used during the session. It is the client's responsibility to disclose any allergies or skin sensitivities.

  • Danielle Victoria Makeup will take all necessary precautions to ensure hygiene and safety. All tools and products will be sanitised and used according to professional standards.

Image Use & Social Media

  •  Danielle Victoria Makeup may take photographs before, during, or after the makeup application for portfolio or social media purposes unless the client specifically requests otherwise.

  • The client consents to the use of their image for promotional purposes, including on social media, websites, and marketing materials.

Force Majeure

  • Danielle Victoria Makeup will not be held responsible for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to accidents, illness, or acts of nature.

Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and will be interpreted in accordance with them. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms and conditions will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Australia. 

Modifications to Terms

  • Danielle Victoria Makeup reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is advised that clients regularly review the page to stay informed of the latest version, ensuring they are aware of any updates or changes.

Client Responsibilities

  • Clean Skin: Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. 

  • Avoid skin treatments: Such as needling, dermaplaning, or peels for at least two weeks prior to the appointment.

  • Allergies & Sensitivities: Notify Danielle
    Victoria Makeup in advance it you have any allergies, sensitivities, or recent treatments that may affect the service.

  • Feedback: If you're dissatisfied with the makeup, please communicate your concerns directly, but refrain from altering the work done by Danielle Victoria Makeup.

  • Courtesy: Please treat this appointment as you would any professional service. Eating during the session is not permitted, and the client should respect the artist's property.

  • Special Requests: Any special requests or preferences should be communicated ahead of time to ensure proper preparation.

  • Mistreatment: Danielle Victoria Makeup reserves the right to deny service in cases of mistreatment, verbal abuse, or non-compliance with these policies.

By booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
